Data science expertise and background

I’m a 3rd-year student in the Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence program at Breda University of Applied Sciences. I’m passionate about turning raw data into meaningful insights and building intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.

My curiosity pushes me to look beyond just using tools and algorithms, I love understanding the logic and processes that make them work. From exploring the math behind a machine learning model to optimizing a data pipeline for efficiency, I enjoy digging into both the “big picture” and the finer details.

Projects I’ve done

At BUAS, projects are organized in structured eight-week cycles, with each new project introduced by the lecturers. Throughout this period, students work under the active supervision of faculty, receiving both technical guidance and feedback. Every project is designed to highlight a different aspect of the data science and AI pipeline, allowing us to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of tools, methods, and workflows. Once the eight weeks are completed, the projects do not necessarily end there; we are encouraged to continue developing and refining them, building on our initial work to create more advanced and practical solutions.
